Shipping, local collection, and confirming receipt of your item.
What delivery options are available?
Delivery options are set by the seller on a per-listing basis. Options may include shipping only, local collection only, or both. The available options for a listing are shown on the listing page and at checkout.
How does shipping work?
If you choose shipping, enter your delivery address at checkout. Once payment is confirmed the seller will pack and dispatch the item. You'll receive a notification when the seller marks the order as dispatched. If the seller provides a tracking number you'll find it in your purchases page.
How does local collection work?
If you choose collection, the seller will contact you via AquaLots messages to arrange a convenient time and location to collect your item. Once you've collected and inspected the item, confirm collection in your purchases page. This releases the seller's payout, so only confirm once you're happy.
What is a collection code?
For collection orders, AquaLots generates a unique 6-digit collection code shown in your purchases page. You may be asked to provide this to the seller when collecting as verification that you are the buyer.
When will my item be dispatched?
Dispatch times vary by seller. Most sellers dispatch within 1–3 business days of payment being confirmed. If you have concerns about a delay, you can message the seller directly through AquaLots.
How do I confirm delivery?
Once your item arrives and you're satisfied with it, go to your purchases page and mark the order as delivered. This releases the seller's payout. Only confirm delivery once you have received and inspected the item — this step cannot be undone.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, take photographs immediately and do not confirm delivery. Contact us through our contact page with your order reference, a description of the damage, and your photos. We'll work with you and the seller to find a resolution.
What if I'm not in when delivery is attempted?
This is between you and the courier. Check the seller's chosen courier's website for redelivery or collection options. If you're unable to retrieve the item, contact the seller and let them know — they may be able to help.
