What we send, how to manage it, and what to do if emails aren't arriving.
What notifications does AquaLots send?
We send notifications for the following: you've been outbid on an auction, you've won an auction, a seller has dispatched your order, a new message has arrived, an offer has been accepted or declined, a competition ticket purchase is confirmed, and important account or security activity.
How do I manage my notification preferences?
Go to Account → Settings → Notifications. From there you can toggle individual email and in-app notifications on or off.
Can I turn off all emails?
You can turn off most marketing and activity emails. However, some emails — such as order confirmations, payment receipts, and security alerts — are essential to your account and cannot be disabled.
I'm not receiving email notifications — what should I check?
First, check your spam or junk folder — our emails occasionally get caught there. If you find one, mark it as not spam to ensure future emails land in your inbox. Also check that your email address in Account → Settings is correct and that notifications haven't been turned off.
How do in-app notifications work?
In-app notifications appear in the notification bell in the top navigation bar. Unread notifications are shown with a badge. Clicking the bell opens a dropdown with your recent alerts. All notifications can also be viewed in full from Account → Notifications.
Can I get a notification when a specific item goes live?
You can add items to your Watchlist to follow active listings. We don't currently support alerts for new listings from a specific seller or category, but this is something we're working on.
How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will remove you from marketing emails. This does not affect transactional emails such as order confirmations or security alerts.
